Friday Discovery Time

On Fridays we have great fun at Discovery with Room 1.  Today we created in the sandpit, experimented in the water trays, practised our patterning with the coloured beads and trialled for the Black Caps cricket team.  We did lots of learning and there were some very interesting conversations while we were playing too!!

Welcome to Room 2

We have all settled into Room 2 and have started to learn all about Our Community.
We visited some people and places in our School Community.

Fire Safety

This week we have had a visit from the fire-fighters to learn more about how to be safe in a fire. Today they came back with their fire engine and showed us all the equipment in it.

Space Day

Today we had a fun day learning about space travel and what it is like in space, We also learned about the planets.

Santa letters

Today we wrote a letter to Santa.  We told him what we'd like for Christmas and what we'd been trying to do better at home and at school.  After we had finished we walked to the post box and sent them. 

Hope that Santa writes back to us soon.
