Learning About Pollination

This week we have been learning about the parts of flowers and pollination. We acted out how bees pollinate flowers.

Measuring Our Bean Plants

This afternoon we went and checked on our beans. We measured them to see how tall they had grown. The tallest bean was Billy's - it is 13 centimetres tall!

Our Hairy Harrys also got their first haircuts!

Swimming

Today we enjoyed our first swimming lesson. The swimming tutors sorted us into our groups. Everyone had to wear a swimming cap!

Learning About How Seeds Travel

This afternoon we learned about the many ways seeds travel and spread around. Mrs Brazier brought in a lot of seeds for us to look at and study.

Green- fingered Gardeners

Our "Hairy Harrys" and our Little Gardens are all growing well on the sunny windowsills in Room 2.

The beans are outside in the garden and we are still waiting for them to come up.
