Tin Foil People

This afternoon, we made figures out of tin foil..... It was a wee bit tricky because the tin foil ripped very easily but we all managed to complete a figure.... Next week we will make some more figures out of tin foil....

Hockey

Will came back to school today for our last Hockey session.   At the end of the session we played a fun game of hockey.  

At the end of the end the score was 0-0 😊

Art in Room 2

Over the past 2 weeks we have been constructing shining Suns to brighten our days!

We covered a paper plate in tiny pieces of ripped tissue paper .  We tried to cover the whole surface of the plate.  Then we decorated them and gave them personalities! 

You can come and see them hanging around in our classroom. 

Michael Mangan Concert

Today Michael Mangan came to our school to sing with us. He taught us some new songs and we also sang some of our favourite songs.

Publishing our Writing

We are learning to type our stories on the laptops!

HOCKEY

Today Will came to school to teach us how to play hockey.  We learnt how to hold the hockey stick properly and how to dribble with ball stuck on the stick like glue.  Next week when Will comes back he is going to teach us how to hit the ball and we will play a game of  hockey!

Straw Rockets

This afternoon for our Construction unit we made Straw Rockets.  We tried to change the features to see if we could make them fly further .
