A Visit From "Captain Cashtastic"

Today "Captain Cashtastic" (Amie from ASB) visited our school. In Room 2 we learned about:

•  New Zealand coins and notes.

• needs and wants ("speed for your needs and wait for your wants")

• spend some, share some and save some.

Swimming Sports

We enjoyed our trip to the Christchurch Art Gallery. We looked at some art works and then designed our own waka with symbols that represent ourselves,

World Read Aloud Day

We celebrated World Read Aloud Day with buddy reading.

All About New Zealand

This afternoon we were learning about places around New Zealand. We had to put the labels in the right place.

Valentine's Day

We hope everyone received a lovely heart card on Valentine's Day. We had a special treat thanks to Louis's mum.
