More Kitchen Chemistry

Today we did another experiment ....'The Balloon Inflator" .  We put some vinegar in the bottle and some baking soda in a balloon.  Next we stretched the ballon over the bottle.

When we lifted the balloon up the baking soda fell into the balloon and mixed together to make Carbon Dioxide.  That blew up the balloon!

We are going to leave the balloon sitting on the bottle all night - I wonder what will have happened to the balloon in the morning?
