Museum and Gardens Trip

We had a great time exploring the Botanic Gardens, observing birds and trees.
At the Museum we learnt about birds - their beaks tell us what they eat and the feet tell us where they live.

Thank you to the parents who were able to come and help.

Get Wise Visit

This afternoon Geoff from Get Wise came to Room 2 to teach us about Money.  We became undercover saving special agents.  We learnt about the different notes and coins and the difference between a "want' and a "need".  Geoff told us that when we earn money we should put it in 3 different jars; a Save jar, a Spend jar and a Share jar. 



 

 

 

 

Paper Planes

This afternoon we all folded our own paper plane. First we watched a video on the the longest ever paper plane flight. Click here to watch the video.

After a practise at throwing our planes we had a little class competition. 

Tennis

Tom and Hook came to teach us how to play tennis.  We learnt some new games and how to make sure that the ball lands in the middle of the racquet.

Air Force Museum Trip

We enjoyed our trip to the Air Force Museum today. We learned a lot about air and flying with Chris and it was fun exploring the museum.
